Hi, Need help with gear

Im new to this site and pretty new to fishing (havent been since i was 12-13).
So i need some help and advice with what rod and reel to buy. Nothing to expensive as im just starting out again. I will be fishing from rocks and the beach so any suggestions on gear would be really appreciated.

depends how much you want to spend
1st though, is it fixed spoil or multiplyer reel you are after, multiplyer is gonna cost more
basicly more cheap set ups by fladen or ron thomson are "ok", especialy for the price, and you should be able to get a resnable set up cheap although dont expect it to be great
1st port of call would be your local tackle shop or somewhere like www.veals.co.uk

i want to use fixed spool and spend around £100 just to get e going

you should be able to get a good set up for that

I had a look on veals, what do you think of the Penn PowerXstix 11'6'' Bass + Captiva 6000 for £80?

a bass rod might not strong enough too handle rock fishing,
depends what you re targeting .you might need a rough /mixed ground rod!

mustad do one or if you can find a greys apollo mk1 2nd hand cheap enough,
but they are 14ft they do a fixed spool rod i think, ron thompson might be ok.
you could ask at your local dealer fir some ideas.
