| where to go? Hi Folks, I live in the central Dudley area and am restricted to where I can travel as i rely on my wife to take me. Are there any good fishing lakes/pools around the Himley park - Dudley area? I visit Himley on a regular basis but would like to try somewhere different but local. (Wife cant find her way back home!) need i say more? Many thanks Dave     |

| Re: where to go? Ha, I like that one, i'm afraid that if its not a straight road for her, she's lost! Just started Carp fishing and i'm loving it, but the local lakes are closed due to the hot weather. Praying for rain! Dave |

| Re: where to go? The heat here is just unbearable. Its suposed to to be 103(39) today, tomorow and sunday. We're getting just a tiny bit of rain every other day or so, just enough to make the humidity absolutely miserable!  Why do they close the water there for the heat? Deep water and spring inlets are still cool enough to catch fish. Catfish and carp still bite in the heat esp. at night. And noisy top-water lures will tempt up bass? More wildlife control? Fish or human?     |
