newbie beachcaster

hello to all ,i've just taken up beachcasting so i will be after sum advise from the more experienced of you lot of where to go and how to get there, i'm off to hopes nose next weekend wiv my newley aquired gear wish me luck

good luck mate, there are quite afew people that regularly fish that area so 1 of them should be along with some advice soon i think

Welcome aboard Matt!

Hopes Nose is VERY busy at the moment so try and get there as early as poss. The downside is it's very quiet down here fishing-wise.

Few maccky, Wrasse and pollock about but not much else.

Best advice I can give for Hopes Nose is travel light. The walk back up with a ton of gear is a killer

I am going to hopes nose for the weekend leaving to go to shaldon, the people i am going wiv say the bass are biting there, so we are going to go back to hopes nose for sum nite fishing aswell
