Re: hello from wakefield

Hi Simon - welcome to the forum. I'm also Wakefield (well lofthouse).
There's a very nice pond i fish @ Normanton, run by the Pylon angling club called the Pylon Pond (cos' there's a Pylon running over it - who'd v' guessed)
They've got a website which tells all about it so won't bore you here with it all.
It's £3 a day or a tenner for the year book - loads of fish big & small.
(enough for now though - said i would'nt bore you now, however if you want filling in with more details please contact me.

Martin.

Re: hello from wakefield

Not necessarily Chris pmsl - fishing can be as dear or as cheap (ish) as you want it to be.
The Telly anglers especially get paid huge wads to kid us into parting with our hard earned -
Question - why are alot of waters PRESSURED ?? - cos' us daft sods fill it in with all that bait - then you can only catch em' by using the high tech stuff they're flogging.
