| Hi from Argentina Hello everyone! I'm a fly fisherman from Argentina. I only get to go fishing on holidays, and mostly in Patagonia. I've been to Norway a couple of months ago but I couldn't get my equipment with me so I didn't get the chance to fish. I've seen a couple of rivers that looked really promising. I hope I can go fishing there some time. I mostly fish river trouts, freshwater salmons and Chinook salmons (I believe some people call them king salmon). I've also fished perch. I used to do spinning a long time ago, but once I tried fly fishing I could never go back. I have no preferred flies, I've tried almost everything, but I'm no expert either. This summer (we are in summer in Argentina right now) Matuka flies worked great at Futaleufú River (Patagonia). I will probably be going back to the same place in a month or so, when the Chinook salmons go upstream. I hope to find new fishing places, share experiences and get to know you! |

| Re: Hi from Argentina Patagonia, probably got some long lost cousins knocking round up there somewhere. Just look for a sign in Welsh and they won't be far away. Welcome to the forum! __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
