| Hi All,decided to take the plunge and start fishing,not fished since i was a kid,and i did'nt really know what i was doing. i am going on a fishing holiday in april with some mates. the problem i have is i am a complete begginner and don't know where to start, i don't want to look like a complete tool when we go away. But everyone one on this forum are very helpfull and there is alot of very exsperienced anglers here to. | Re: Newbie The way I look at it is the only way to look a complete tool is to NOT do what you have done. We all started sometime and I can guarantee you that most of us "old hands" have made more embarrassing mistakes and cock ups than you could shake a snapped pole section at. Usually just after we've said "Nah, look I know all about this , watch........". Welcome aboard .
