| Re: Hello Hello , I fish the on the River Medway most weeks, around the Tonbridge/Maidstone area, There are a few good spots , it all depends what you are after. As with most rivers these days, it is very patchy , but at certain times of the year, certain types of fish will/may congregate in a given area. As far as giving marks away , its not the done thing to do, on an open forum. Best way, is to get out and about with a roving set up, and look for, and try likely spots in your area, I would certainly take most of what you hear on the bank, with a pinch of salt, unless you see it, I am certain that I have been caught out by some red herrings in the past. If you fish in the Tonbridge/Maidstone area, myself and my fishing pals , would not mind showing you some of the better spots, not all of them mind! Update After reading the other posts I now see that you fish in the salt, but the invite is still open if you ever want to have a go in freshwater |

| Re: Hello A welcome to the forum from me too. Have you tried to the left of Grain? Leave the motor in the little car park close to the church, walk to the front then turn left and walk some 500 yards along the beach. Try there; me and my son have been getting a few nice sized flatties right up until Xmas. Lug tipped with squid on a small hook. Kind regards. John R. __________________ Kissin' don't last!
