Just moved to our new home, which is about 100yds from the beach so I decided to give fishing a go :-)

Bought some cheap gear, £30 all in, from Ebay and decided that I like it so am now looking to upgrade rod and reel to something more substantial, and that is why I am nosing around here, and to learn more about sea fishing (beach casting) in general.

Welcome along mate , we travelled through your neck of the woods last week en route to Langley point - theres some great shore fishing to be had in both W and E Sussex !
The cod should start to show now and theres bass about so get out and enjoy it
