Hello From Leicester

Hi all,

Well a little on me.

I did loads of coarse fishing when I was young until I hit 18 where I found sea fishing. I kind of gave up on coarse fishing because the lure of a bigger catch that I could take home over took me so I carried on sea fishing into my early 20's.

I havent fished for around 5 years and am looking to get back into it but as I live in Leicester (couldnt be further from the sea) Im going to start fly fishing and also some sea fishing where possible. We have a reservoir stocked with trout regularly and you can get a catch and keep ticket or catch and release which will be good.

Also Im thinking of starting an online business selling fishing gear....dont know if that would be successful in this current economic climate, but you never know!

Selling fishing tackle has been done to death , lots of competition and hard work for very little profit margin ,good luck ,your gonna need it..

salute im land locked too but get out at least twice a month,,as the man said tackle is dirt cheap now and ebay has an abundance lol

Meh maybe Ill skip the selling in that case and simply go for the fishing part :P

welcome along mate - i used to have my own fishing tackle business but it was very hard work - especially when you're manufacturing the kit too !!
