Hi I'm new

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum but have been fishing since i was 12, i'ver mainly gone after trout and sea bass, recently i have started to carp fish and love it.

I do need to ask for some advice if anyone has the time to help me out a bit.

I'm planning to fish a gravel pit local to my girlfriends area in shropshire on saturday and have never fished a gravel pit before.

I always use live bait and prefer maggots with a swim feeder and then float fishing close in.

can anyone reccomend anything that would work on a gravel pit that is similar, i'm not after a particular species. I just want to find my feet in these waters,
