| :-) Hi There, My names Ben, I am a student and I have only done a few bits of fishing before now, I have tried fly fishing for trout, and I have been sea fishing for mackerel a few times but other than that i've really not done anything, I am really keen to start to get more into fishing as a hobby but i have no clue where to start! I would love to get into doing more fly fishing as i really enjoyed it when i went with my uncle, but as i am biased as its all i've really done i would love it if you could give me some recommendation as to what type of fishing to get into, what sort of tackle to get, and random bits that every fisherman needs, like a priest ect. (i know there will be a lot, so a beginners guide would be amazing!) I am a student from cardiff but my parents live in staffordshire and so i was wondering if there are any members from around either of these areas that can give me some advice on places to fish that are friendly and welcome beginners.
