Re: hamble/weston

You would have to take him at night steve for a guaranteed catch of pout , you can pretty much catch schoolies anywhere along hamble in the daytime , alough ensign way towards the bp jetty is a better bet , the gun can produce as well mate , failing that fish in swanick to the left of moodys boat yard , under the trees , plenty of small fish to keep the little lad interested

p.s stay well clear of weston shore its just plain crap in the daytime

Re: hamble/weston

Its opposite the spinnaker pub mate ,its really bursledon but the posh people like to call it swanick , from tesco roundabout drive past sammies tackle and bait , over the bridge and to the right is moodys boatyard turn right and you will end up on the beach by a small car park and the slipway ,( there is a fee to pay to park ) , walk to the left and under the trees and fish half way along (bit more csting distance ) juat plain old worm for bait

Re: hamble/weston

Hey no probs mate , its a bit too shallow to float fish , id deffo ledger around 20 - 40 yards out , wragworm for bait , dont rule out floating bread for the mullet , theres plenty there but they will take worm baits

Standard carp gear or spinning gear will be spot on !
