Newbie

Hi there. I am new to this forum.

I live in Devon and have been out on the mackerel boats in the past with my family but I would like to get into bass fishing in the Exe estuary.
I only have a couple of crab lines so would like some advice on what sort of rod and reel to buy and where I should be trying to fish from.
I am new to fishing so any advice would be appreciated.
