| Hello to everyone hello guys, well after a 30 year break from fishing i decided to give it another try, i live next to loch lomond and the river leven and fished this for salmon ,trout and caught perch and pike also when i was a boy, but now my daughters boyfreind is into sea fishing so i tagged along with them, and got hooked my self, never caught anything on my first two trips to Loch Long but after reading on some forums and watching you tube videos i went back with the wife, armed with some new gear and tackle,, tuesday the 28th june 20011 i fired off my new feathers right into the loch, on the third cast i got a strike, 4 mackies and it didnt stop there, i was pulling them out almost every time, went back last week and got a few more, saw a big shoal of mullet slowly swiming near to surface heading up the loch too.. next week , we are off to Loch etive and hopefuly ill land a few different species,,, iv had so much fun in the last few weeks i now know what i have missed all these years... bough new rods and reels too, nothing fancy but enough to get me started again, so heres to a good fishing season this year....
