Hi,

I've just joined as I am moving down to the Southampton area and semi retiring.

Interested in all course angling - pole and rod - recently set up some new gear. Also interested in Sea fishing and already been out with Hugh Shepherd on Patient Persuit and hope to go with him on a regular basis.

Anyone give advice on the best sites around the area - I will be living in Totton. Is it best to join a club. I've looked at Eastleigh & Ringwood angling clubs and the web info for Cadlands.

I was hoping there might be some response and possible information about clubs etc in the Southampton area but it seems no-one wants to reply to me.
