| Re: changed over to coarse fishing. Hi blueshark, Welcome to the forum. I have family in Naas and Athy, and have been fortunate enough to have fished the Barrow and the Liffey. There are some cracking fish in Ireland, and can only hope to go back soon. The Shannon has always been Bream heaven but with so many miles of river and lake side available you are bound to have some great catches. Good luck, and don't forget to let the forum know how you get on. | Re: changed over to coarse fishing. . 92 fish, roach and rudd but some of the smallest fish I have ever caught, a pike moved in in the afternoon and scared off the fish, he took me 3 times so i got out my pike spinning gear and caught him on the first try. 12lbs then I went home but a great day was had. |
