The bigger '7' series offer an increase in guts and torque and make these models well suited to heavy beach, rock and boat fishing, both uptide and downtide fishing. They share most of the features of the '6' series but the retrieve is dropped to 4.3:1 to increase torque and the drag is a whopping 20lb+ to deal with big fish and strong lines. The 7 also has a dual anti reverse system for extra security when battling a lunker. Weight is 19oz and capacity 320yds of 20lb

It`s not the best but will be ok for wrecking , the retrieve @ 4.3 :1 will make for a long day retrieveing if your fishing deep wrecks ,line capacity is good @ 320yds of 20lb mono ,so will hold a full 300m spool of braid .

Good luck and be sure to let us know how you get on.....

Re: boat reel

Welcome to the forum. Don't listen to Mike he knows nothing about fishing off a boat.........
OK Maybe he does know a little, what with having owned a charter boat. OK it's a lot more than me. Though he is a tackle tart. Nah! Sound advice as always Mike.
