Re: making grounbait? You can buy hemp pellets very cheap from farm shops, grind them in a blender add some fresh boiled hemp, and some halibut oil. You can also introduce eggs to make a nice paste. To this you can add corn, nuts or whatever your chosen quarry like.

Re: making grounbait? I normally visit a farm shop by huge bags of hemp and maze. The bags are 15 kilo each. I then boil up the hemp and maze adding salmon, frozen sweetcorn, chick peas and chilli powder. Will last a season. tj

Re: making grounbait? Vitalin is supposed to be good, not used it yet though. I tend to buy bulk bags of brown crumb as the basis for most of my groundbait. It's also worth buying things like help that way too rather than piddly little bags. Whatever you decided on , protect it from rodents. The little buggers get in far more places than you'd imagine and will scoff it down and pee all over it if left where they can chew it. I use big plastic buckets trap and poison the garage too. Usually only a problem in winter though. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk
