New to the midlands :) Hello people. I used to fish a few club waters in the north Yorkshire area, pleasure carp fishing I suppose, the odd night here or there. I have been out of the game for a few years since I moved to the Midlands. I live in Wolverhampton but am fine traveling a little (tbh the excuse to get out of Wolverhampton is a welcome one), I am ideally looking for a club or two with a couple of waters for some casual carping that aren't super busy. I don't really mind the size of the fish in all honesty as long as I have a little peace and a bit of action. If anyone could point me in the right direction id be very very grateful. Thanks.

Re: New to the midlands :) Have you thought about trying proper (river) fishing? Your only 10 miles from some of the finest river fishing in the country!?

Re: New to the midlands :) Welcome! BAA is super value. There are plenty of carp in the canals near Wolverhampton too. I lived in Wolverhampton a while ago, Newhampton Road, the other end from the Molineux. Can't say I'd rush to move back, even though I am just down the road. Kinver Freeliners have some water on the Severn lower down that has carp in it. Having said that I think there is a waiting list. BAA is great value , though , sometimes a little heavily fished. I wouldn't mind betting some of the lower stretchs have carp too. All the best. Pete. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk
