| Hello - Newbee from Anglesey Hi Everyone, Just a quickie to say hello and introduce my self. My name is Adrian (Ady) and I live in sunny Anglesey in North Wales. Been into see and course fishing for a while now but I have to admit that the fee for course fishing has put me off for the past 5 or so years! I do a lot of mackerll fishing in the summer months and spinning and enjoy fishing of the harbour and breakwater in my town. Amlwch. I have only ever caught one BASS before but I thaught it was a bit of a naff way. There is a spot for fishing on the outflow from the nuclear power plant that has a brilliant feeding ground. Where the warm shallow water discharges into the see is a top spot for BASS. You can actually see them swimming arround from the rocks above. The area is patroled by the plant police so its not all fun and games. Im off with the fishing club tonight for some BASS fishing. Although im pretty crap at it I do like the sport. Im going to take one rod with bait off thebottom and some lures/feathers to see what is out there! Will post up to let you know how I got on! Ady ![]() |

| Re: Hello - Newbee fro Anglesey Got there from about half 5 and there were already people there baiting up. The tide was running out fast and got a bit annoyed moving lower and lower down chasing after it. High tide was not untill gone midnight so we fished the tide out and then when it turned. Did not get a single bite in 5 hours. I think it was due to the fact that I was casting the furthest that I could and the water was only about 3 inch deep. People were wading out further than I could cast and was bearley going past there knee. Ahh well, where thes is water there is fish! Better luck next time. Got a nice snap of us fishing, although sadly no fish! |
