Hi All

Just joined the forum after getting back into fishing after being out for a good few years, I still managed to get out on the odd occasions but not as much as I used to. things changed a year ago when some fishing tackle was passed onto me from my late brother, opening up the old wicker Basket and rod holdall was like reliving the past! lots of my old gear was in there aswel as a good clean Mitchell match a old shakespeare 2400 and a Abu 501 reels plus a large amount of gear past its sell by date. thankfully lately I have now been adding to this with some new equipment and a couple more rods.

I Recently moved to Norwich after living on the edge of Kings Lynn for most of my life and was interested in trying out a few of the venues in the area. the Wensum is virtually on my doorstep which I would like to try in season aswel as a few pits near by.

Looking forward to talking to people on the forum and hopefully allowing me to pick your brains and perhaps meeting up with some local fishermen.

I feel a bit lost at the moment in this neck of the woods even though I'm only live around 40 miles from where I used to live. I can't wait to get out again and do some fishing, I brought myself a Okuma IBF40 a couple of weeks ago and a feeder rod and some other bits and peices! I also called them Ledger rods but I was soon put right and told its a feeder rod .

Just a shame the fishing season is now finished as I'm itching to get out and relax fishing again. I'll probably look a bit daft sitting there with a my old wicker basket, its been around since I was a lad in the seventies and hopefully will bring me some luck.
