Re: River severn Angler Wahay! Someone else who lives round here and fishes the Severn. I'll be able to pass on all the ways NOT to catch fish there :) Welcome to the forum. Look forward to the posts, Bridgnorth is a lovely town (well the river flowing through it that is, don't think I've ever actually BEEN to Bridnorth more than twice ) and probably one of the best angling centres with tons of good fishing round it. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk

Re: River severn Angler Hi chaps. I take it there aren't many Severn Anglers on here then??!! I've been fishing it for a fair while, it'd be rude not to living on the banks of the middle severn. I'm no expert but I'm all up for sharing and discussing anything fish related. Tight lines

Re: River severn Angler There's probably a few , it's just such a big river we sort of spread out I guess. I mainly fish BAA but also , hopefully, joining Kinver this year. Trying to get to know one or two areas well as well as going for roach and chub alongside the more normally targeted barbel. As you say it would be almost rude not to fish for barbel on the middle Severn, I just love roach too. One thing is for sure , there appear to be a lot less silvers than the river size etc. suggests. We'll see. Tight lines and time for bed . ![]() __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk
