| New guy in southwest Virginia Hey all, I'm Scott from Virginia, a hardcore bass guy without a boat, a Christian intellectual neo-redneck fluent in 3 languages, addicted to topwater and swimbaits. I'm 33, Melungeon-American (Lumbee Indian-Turkish with a little English, Dutch, and Polish mixed in for variety) married to a Brazilian, with a 5-year-old daughter who loves to fish. I'm on a personal quest to catch 200 species of fish on rod&reel, and there's a good chance I'm headed to Michoacán, Mexico with one of my fishing buddies this year to stay at the house he just built in the village where he grew up. Maybe I'll get to 50 or 60 this year. My first fishing report is that my brother-in-law caught a 10-pound tilapia in Brazil last week..... |
