| hello, im kinda new at comps neverminf seafishing so hope someone gets to read this! thanks for letting me join, wont belong till your all fed up with my noob question, jim heres the first one (landed running lol) i was using google earth 3d on the campsite over at arrachor and it looks really deep water, and suggestions/tips for fishing from shore would be great! |

It is a deep loch, but the last time we fished it ( about 3 yrs ago ), we lost a lot of tackle because of the kelp beds. Best way to fish it is from a boat, there was a guy used to hire out dinghies with an outboard, just next to the Arrochar Hotel, but not sure if he`s still there. If you`re fishing from the shore, I think you`d be better the other side, just before the bend round to Ardgarten. |

| Re: hello, im kinda new at comps neverminf seafishing so hope someone gets to read th that sounds a great tip, as i said about googl3d its amazing for seeing stuff that i would normally miss, i got some great pics of the old torpedo range from 2008 from google, real interesting. im off to try the arrochar hotel, cheers. |
