Hi, I'm Kev from Workington. Just joined the forum as looking at getting back into a bit off sea fishing, used to go regular in 90's but hardly been since. One of the reasons I'm getting interested again is the availability of mail order bait (lugworm mainly) as personal circumstances mean I'm away every weekend so it's nigh on impossible for me to dig bait, go fishing and somehow fit in work

It's very interesting to see how much things have changed in the last 10 years or so, some of the new reels look like something off star trek Bet some things haven't changed though, like the lack of fish, cold wet nights on the beach thinking what the hell am I doing here, seaweed, traces flying seaward at 100mph minus your line (and coming back next low water to try and find them ). But it's all worth it when you see that cod you've been after appearing from the surf
