Back after a long break

Hi all

I used to do a lot of fishing but stopped for about 20 years. My 10 year old lad got me back into it by pestering me to take him and I have got that bug back in a big way.

Trouble is, my size 20 spade end hooks and 2lb line doesn't cut it anymore on the commercial carp fisheries around Liverpool so it's been an expensive return. Now having to buy 2 lots of everything too ;)

Thanks for having me. I have a ton of questions but will try my best to contribute to the community

Hi John, welcome back, I hope your son and yourself have a great time fishing together. My son deserted me to be a goalkeeper, but I caught him waggling my new fly rod the other night, so maybe there`s hope for him yet
