fazeley canal near tyburn rd

has any1 ever fished the fazeley canal for pike and zander near the tyburn house if so was it good how many u catch ? thnx

that place is full of em hence the lack of gudgeon that used to live there we used to use them as live bait on a pole and dangle them in the reeds far side ,,did you fish behind the gravely estate or up futher towards the drome cafe,,its a cracking canal bit restricted on parking and acces now ,,,try towards kingsbury at the boat pub pint and a fish cant be bad good carp there to

its a nice fish mate they been in that stretch since if i rem early 90's apparently some disgruntled anglers from a coventry club put em in i have seen loads out that sort of size nice fish though there are some big double figure carp in that section 2 if you fish to the far bank ,,,best stretch is before drayton manor park coming from brum you pass where the road splits keep on bout a mile on the left youl see an bus stop and a church in the distance , on the right is a turning and a small track with bridge at the end park there and walk up a bit to the woody area towards drayton fenny where the boats are tamworth end if you drive past the park you gone too far, use a small live gudgeon or roach far bank ,carp like corn maggs ect and well done again
