| Re: Berkshire Newbie here Thanks Scottish_and_Mental and Turkish It seems that whe have a few nationalities here (or is it Turkish from Snatch?) Turkish: I do like see fishing, but once again, am a novice. I went down to Devon 2 weeks ago for a weekend of fishing, we left the wifes behind (It's better that way) I was surprised by my success rate (to me anyway), taking into account that it was my first experience in almost 10years, if not longer. I REALLY enjoyed it. I caught 1 dogfish, 2 Pollock and 3 Mackerel (Spinning) My main thing is fly fishing at the moment, but would like to get to the Seaside more often. What about yourselves? JD  |

| Re: Berkshire Newbie here Real Turkish here mate. (But I do not sell kebabs). My main interest is on sea fishing. Whenever I get chance I drive down to south. I have not caught anything lately. (I blame the luck. Some say I have no skill  ) But I enjoy being by the sea and having the fresh air. But I would not mind trying fly fishing too (or anywhere near to Slough so I leave less carbon footprint) |

| Re: Berkshire Newbie here Turkish, I see your'e close to me. I usually head to Syon Park (close to Richmond) for fly fishing. I find the setting beautiful and have had success everytime.. It's easy to get started, I bought a starter pack 2 years ago and took it to the Yorkshire Dales on holiday with my family. It was my first time and I was "hooked" the first time the trout took my fly. Best regards JD |
