| Help needed Been 'fishing' on and off since I was small boy and am now nearly 40, but never really taken time to learn real ins and outs of beach fishing. Whenever I go I always seem to blank. Don't know whether it's just the way things are, or whether it's lack of knowledge and dedication. Anyone recommend any books on best rigs and baits to use without getting overwhelmed? I normally fish around the Portsmouth and Hayling area and start just before high tide using mainly ragworm. I don't expect to catch a fish every time but one now and again would be nice - a bass would be really something special! |
