Just thought i will say a qwick hello. I have been going coarse fishing for a few years now just at resorvoirs though, want to start going to a few lakes.

Just had my first sea fishing trip last weekend, loved it. Caught some mackeral and ling, couple of people caught some small cod. Going again next month.

As i said i have been going coarse fishing for a while now and i want to get some sea fishing tackle but not sure what the best set up is for ling/cod/pollock do i need a multiplier or baitcasting reel or a good quality heavy duty fixed spool reel. Same for the rod not sure what strenght i should be looking to get i would be mostly boat fishing, any advise welcome thanks.
