HI all need help complete novice

I know theres probobally a section on here already dedicated to newbies but i cant find one.I really want to take up fishing but have very limited knowledge and dont know any one that fishes. i live in bucks and im sure there are plenty of places to fish locally. any advice on what rods to buy where to fish and mainly how to fish would be greatfully appreciated,

Best bet would be either to join a local club or see if there are anglers local to you on here that you can 'tag along' with .
Im sure you can find most of the answers on here

Its a bit hard to teach you how to fish from scratch on here but we will help where we can , like Scottish says try your local clubs or just have wonder round your lakes, 99% of anglers would be happy to help u. Also dont feel embarrassed to ask cos everyone has to start somewhere

helloo welcome to the forum first of all get a licence it will be the most important thing you need then think of what you need to fish and how much you got to spend ,my advice would be to visit a local tackle shop give them your budget and they will hopefully set you up with the basics and im sure you will find all the help and info you need on this forum tight lines ..

welcome aboard. Dave fish hit the nail on the head, find a local tackle dealer and see if you like them. If so then ask them. It's a huge topic but I am sure we can help.
