Hi all, New member to the forum, I have plenty I want research and its possible I may even know the occasional thing to help someone out. I grew up fishing canals, taught by my dad who was a genius and used to win matches all the time. I'm nothing like he was though. I now river fish almost every time I go but i do want to get back into canals and pools again. I just like trotting a stick float and i like smaller rivers. Places that no one else goes to as its just to difficult to walk there. One thing i definitely want some advice on is good day ticket waters on some of the rivers not so far away from Wolverhampton. I know little about the upper Trent for example and yet so many people have advised me to go fishing there. Anyway hope to speak to you all soon. Regards, James
