Hi and welcome to the Forum. I used to fish the Medway at wateringbury for Carp, very tricky, but got a few out. Which sections do you fish?

Re: hello to all fishermen and fishing ladies

i fish on the mid kent ticket,we had the rights for the stretch of the medway behind the hop farm at paddock wood,
i loved fishing there,
unfortunately we can't fish there any more,

it was a nice unspoilt, remote part of the river ,you never saw another angler when you were there

Re: hello to all fishermen and fishing ladies

Hey, I'm a newbie too. Looking at getting into carping this year. I need some heavier gear though as I've been fishing light for the smaller carp. Would be great to talk carpy stuff with you though.
