Hello every one I am a new member and can already see this is a very good site.

I have been mostly lake fishing around the north somerset area catching carp and smaller fish. My biggest carp is only about 8lb but still a fun catch. Hopefully I will catch a bigger one this year.

I like to fish when its warm. Cold winter fishing is for the dedicated. I love fishing but need to be warm too. I'll be out there again in a week or two. Can't wait. I'm just praying for good weather

Of all the baits though I still find that floating bread is unbeatable in the summer for catching carp, that is as long as you can float it without the ducks seeing it first.
