can any one tell me if poisson chat can harm my carp in my french lake and how can i get rid of them thanks larry

Sorry, don't know if they are harmful to the resident fish, but they are supposed to be a nightmare to the fishermen.

I heard of a lake in france that had them, they get into the lake if it is river or stream fed, and the owner there drained the lake and physically removed them!

Good luck with them, i hope it is not too painful a time.

Don't think they harm resident fish. Ther'e just a bait robbing pest. Use armamesh or bait cages to protect your bait or fish using plastic corn.
