My name and my biggest fish :D

Hi.

My names kevin and im a match fisherman used to be carp but got bored of the sitting around waiting (probably through not doing something right) so i though i would go back to the old maggot bashing. I fish with my uncle (who is a carp angler) and we have been fishing together for the past 15 years. There were parts of the carp fishing that i did enjoy like the early morning starts (or late evening starts to over night fish which was the part i didnt like) and the fry up in the morning and the joking on with david and the others (if there were any other where we were fishing) and getting hints and tips. But i think with the match fishing you are at all times alert and busy (which is what i like to be) making sure your gear is in order as well as your bate and a cupper and a sandwich by your side lol.

Right now onto the biggest fish
My biggest pike-8lbs 2oz Which was my winning fish for my very first pike match at my local lake.

My biggest carp-16 lbs 10oz Which i caught on my uncles rod cos he had a nackered knee and was too slow putting on his wellies lmao.

My biggest perch would be about 12oz which i know isnt very big but i always remember the scrap (One of the best thing about the perch)

Thats about it in terms of interesting stuff. Its not much but its memorable to me :)

I hope to get some useful info about fishing from you peeps on here so i will ask if i need you lol

Thank you and i have I was taught by my uncle who i shall also get to join because although we have been fishing for so long (him a lot longer) there is still a hell of a lot yet to be learned as fishing gets more and more complicated all the time.
