 Hi all- New to site, a bit about me Hi to all Members, Just a few lines about myself and what fishing im into. I grew up close to a canal so in the early years It was all about the match type fishing, Joined the army at sixteen so never had much time to fish, left at 22 and decided to take it up again. About 18 months ago I decided I wanted to start targeting specimen fish , ( Barbel, carp, pike etc) Luckily some of my new work mates are experienced specimen anglers so they have been happy to take me out and help me out with kit and tips, I have seen great improvement in myself and I am now quite confident to catch/ land big (ish) size fish on my own Looking forward to gaining lots of new tips n tricks from this site. sorry to go on lol, Cheers     |

Can anyone tell me , Have all the pike emigrated from the ancholme in brigg lol cos I must av covered a 3 mile stretch and didnt get a sniff all day!!! and neither did any of the other lads down there. Must just be one of them days, Roll on spring and barbel n carp |
