| Hi everyone, Stumbled upon this forum via a video post on the tube, after looking into a spot of Zander fishing on the Sharpness canal. I live on the edge of Bristol, currently hold a permit with Alcove so have access to some pretty standard still waters. Also hold membership with a couple of private lakes back in Shropshire, my home county. Have been fishing in and around Bristol for about 8 years. Moved last year from a place called Purton, where we rented a home which had a back garden that actually backed onto the Sharpness canal - would be there now if the landlord didnt want his house back! Looking for friendly advice and chat and looking to expand my fishing beyond the usual carp and tench waters in my local area. Thanks VS |

| Re: Another new member in the net Thanks Lman, Was just reading the thread on previous meet and results. A few nice little baby Zed's coming out. Not sure if I can make it next Saturday, will deffo confirm if I can make it. It would be a great experience to learn from you guys, as I have never but would love to, catch a Zander. I heard in my local tackle shop a couple of big Zed's have come out this month at the Shaprness end, near the dockers club...Im having a stroll down there tomorrow for some Pike... Thanks again for the warm welcome... VS |
