Just got back into fishing after 20 odd years

Hi Hugh here from glenrothes Fife Scotland .
Went out yesterday and bought rod, reel ,size 12 hooks ,maggots oh and some weights and a permit for the Ballo reservoir just out side leslie in the lomand hills.
Got there just after 10am this morning and set up. Im now hooked on fishing as the last time i fished i still had teen after my age.
I got that buzz that i have not had for a while as had knee replacement back in feb this year that did not go to well .But any way will defo be back on weekends to fish paid £18.00 4 fish bag and came away with my 4 fish good 3.5 poun rainbows is this just me getting the first time luck and every thing gose down hill now . Many thanks if they are members to Paul and Joan for a great day . Also looking for more places to fish .Hugh
