| hello from carla hello to all members.... i've been fishing for a year now, my boyfriend got me hooked!?! i enjoy cleaning, gutting and eating fish as well as catching them lol! He got me started on some macky bashing, bought me a 6ft spinner rod and recently got me a 9 n half uptide rod because i got jealous, them catching dogfish. i've posted new pics of bass we caught in torquay recently, & by the way i caught my first bass on my 6ft rod so imagine how it bent i thought it was gonna snap... happy fishing everyone!     |

I've just joined here myself, nice to find another female who loves bass fishing  Hope you catch your doggie soon if you've not already - I waited a year to catch my first and was so pleased when I did, even though they don't fight (that being said, I have had one of them put up a bit of a struggle since!). Well done on the bass on the 6'er. I've got a 6' Ugly Stik which hooped right over when I caught my first 2lb bass on it. Definately the most fun rod for catching fish of that size, a real fight! |
