Hi everyone.
just found this site and decided to register.
Been fishing on and off for many years but nothing serious.
Got a sea outfit and a spinning rod but my favourite method is on the fly.
I would class myself as the kind of angler who likes to go fishing not the kind who goes to catch fish. Sounds silly I know, but wading up river with a light rig, catching wild brownies on flies tied myself, is just about as good as it gets for me. then i just let hem go to fight another day.
Never been one for trophies or record breaking, just the peace and quiet of the river bank.
If i decide to stock the freezer with a few rainbows tho', its off to my local reservoir (Llys-y-Fran) with the ol' bucket'o'worms and a running ledger setup.
Haven't blanked yet with this method.
My two boys are now grown up and have decided to start. needless to say, my kit is starting to dwindle and the Questions are comming thick and fast. So it looks as if I found this forum just in time.
