hi guys im the newbie

My name is james im from west wales pembrokeshire to be exact been fishing for many years im 33 married with 2 kids trying to get the eldest one in to fishing but being a girl she is sqeemish about baiting up my equipement that i use is 2 12 ft beachcasters loaded with a pair of sl20shv multipylers .
My biggest fish ws a 8 lbs bull huss caught on ragworm tipped with mackerel ,
I try to go fishing at least once a week being in pembrokeshire no shortage of good marks

yes it is i tend to only visit the best spots were i can get the nicest fish .
3 of us went to a place called the wattick steps down the side of a cliff edge and on a set of old steps were it fishes comfortably 3 maybee 4 at a push casted out into deep water.
If you get the chance to fish this mark would only need to cast out possibly 50 to 60 yards any closer on yourself then you hit rough ground but after that its sandy bottom.
Bait : squid and ragworm for ray on a pully pennel rig with about a 5ft flowing trace then wieghted with a grip
Mackeal is also a good bait but be prepared for the fishermans m8 the dogfish this mark is know for them pain in arse we had about 60 doggys on this night
will try and write report everytime we go if thats okay

Welcome to the Forum James. Just got back from a few days fishing in Pembrokeshire myself (St Davids Head) Beautiful coastline. Pity you wer'nt on the Forum before I went as maybe we could have met up. Good luck on your next trip & looking forward to reading your reports.
