| hi, i need a little help please. hey guys, im new to this so a big hello to everybody! i have a problem and i could use a bit of help. im going fishing on wednesday and i am going to be feeder fishing for the first time. i understand what to do, how to set up and the general concept of feeder fishing. the only problem i have is casting. i know that accurate casting is important and i have heard alot of people talking about line clips. i dont really understand what line clips are or how to use them. could anybody please tell me how to use one properly and maybe demonstrate with a picture please? it will really help me a lot and put my mind to reast lol! also im using a basic rig, open end feeder freerunning with a bout 2 foot hooklengh, size 14 hook. im not sure about the line yet. was think about 4lb main with 2lb hooklengh. for bait im thinking about marine halibut ground bait with hemp, maggots and sweetcorn. maybe luncheon meat too. i aim to catch anything but would be really chuffed with carp and tench. so what do you guys think? do you think its a decent choice of bait and also rig? and please could some body explain line clips too me aswell. much appreciated. Tom. |

| Re: hi, i need a little help please. yes its a good mix man sweetcorn works well as the hook bait you should get tench fishing the bottom if that doesnt work change try poping it up as you dont want to sit ther all day and not catch __________________ visit all-style-fishing.blogspot.com/ Just started it up 1st article on rod and reel for pits and small lakes + good links for where to buy new bait info now up :) |
