| A Re-kindled love for the sport After being mad for fishing up untill i was about 16, drinks, parties and other distractions caused me to have a 15 year break from the sport. During that time my Dad took it up and now I am in my thirties and mellowed a bit I have taken it back up again, in a big way, mainly caused by a week long carp excursion with the old man that really got me going again for all things fishing. This first season has been the best I have ever had, catching P/B's in chub, pike and carp plus catching my first ever Salmon and Grayling. I live in Darlington, North East and have enjoyed some great days on local still waters and rivers using mainly course tactics and this year I hope to travel further afield to test out some the other great fishing spots in the UK. Looking forward to picking up some hints and tips from everyone and hopefully sharing some of my new found knowledge with you all. Tite Lines! |
