Hey there im a new and wanna fish hastings pier

Hey all my names kris, im from london but work in wales and spend as much time as i can in hastings.

im new to sea fishing and im in hasting from the 6th to the 18th and was hoping to fish the hastings pier, iv done quite a bit of carping before and i know that this is completley different, i have 3 rods that were given to me, a spinner, beachcaster and a kinda alrounder but can be used for boat fishing. is there anyone that can tell me the basic bits of gear i need to get started and also if anyone is fishing the pier in that time then would they mind if i joined to get a bit more know how to sea fishing.
