| Hi Hi, I have decided to join this fishing forum for 2 reasons, 1 is back in 2005 i used to love fishing, i would spend alllll day catching perch and roach and the odd trout when i went on the river, but the second reason is i went out yesterday for a fish, with my pole and my friend with a normall fishing rod, using size 20 hooks, he was on the river and i was on the canal, id just sat down and he said "oi s**t", i turn arround and he has a big trout on the line, unfortunantly he dropped it as he got it off the line. But i on the canal didnt catch anything, and i went out today, brand new rig, small float size 22 hook and a red maggot the same as i used to catch back in the day but NOTHING. Is there somthing i am doing wrong? Please help, thanks - Joe     |
