| Hi All Hi, I am Nick, an expat living in New Zealand for 9 years now, used to freshwater fish as a boy for carp, tench, roach and perch, now salt water fish off the coast of New Zealand, in my friends boat (another expat) or on one of the many charter boats that operater all over New Zealand. My reel passion is organising large trips to different areas on charter boats, we usually stay out for two or three days at a time and sleep on the boat. Hopefully I will have some great trips this summer, 3 are already booked and full with a few more yet to be planned. Hope to post a few fishing reports over the summer, my misson this year is to catch a snapper (sea bream) over 15lb and over 20lb would be even better and to catch a 20lb+ kingfish, I would also like to catch a cray fish (lobster) while diving. |

| Re: Hi All Thanks for the welcome guys, the weather is getting better here, usual spring time and a little unsettled, but definately warming up. If you guys have any tips on uploading photos, I can post some up to give you an idea of what fishing is like over here. I do miss the carp fishing a wee bit, but now I get to eat what I catch, and we have loads of fun using lighter and lighter gear. |
