| Re: hello from fife Hi all, been fly fishing for years but now my son 's getting into angling but the fly casting's still a bit much for him so we both bought bait/spin outfits and are having a whale of a time. Mostly, we fish the Glow with great success and fancy a shot at some coarse fishing. We've visited Swans Pond and Lochgelly Loch but drew blank on both primarily because they're so close to where we live. Any tips on venues, tackle etc would be very greatly appreciated. What I would say tho is, I'm kinda disappointed with the amount of crap and rubbish left behind by fellow 'enthusiasts' and I've read a lot about our eastern EU brothers wholesale cleaning out venues of all the large fish? Anyhoo, glad I found this forum and look forward to the crack.....TIGHT LINES !! |
