| Hi everyone. My name is Danny, I live nr Southampton, a mile or so away from the Hamble river(estuary?) I've not been fishing for probably 20 years but decided to have another crack at it. All my kit was nicked years ago by some lowlife, from my shed, so I'll be open to suggestions on good places to pick up new\second hand kit and what is good and what to avoid. A guess things have changed too with regards to setup\rigs since I last drowned a worm - so pointers with respect to that will be greatly received I've seen one friendly name already, Portland Jon, known on a few other forums I frequent - Morning Jon! ..and Monkeynuts looks to be a "local" so I may have to tap him for tips on hot spots .I'll be shore based initially and likely to have one or both daughters with me as I have every intention of getting them "hooked" too. So, Hello everyone! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Danny |
