| Hi everyone! Hi everyone, Just moved my family to Norway from Indonesia and an returning to cold water fishing! Fished fresh and salt water as a young man in Norfolk until getting married and gave up for a few years, returned to it after a long break about ten years ago in Indonesia, never sport fished but simply fished for pleasure going out on a rented local shrimp or fishing boat into Jakarta Bay or the Sunda Straights at least once a month. Now in Norway and fishing with my 6 year old son in the fjords around Stavanger. Hoping to increase my knowledge and my catch rate via the wealth of experience on this forum. Quite happy to share my experiences as well if they are of any benefit to anybody! Regards. Richard |

| Re: Hi everyone! Thanks for the welcome guys! I will of course keep you updated on the fishing! Just been fun fishing with my son this weekend in Stavanger Harbour for Mackerel! a really enjoyable way of relaxing and having quality time with the kids! Wife of course went sightseeing with our daughter, but both fished for a short while on their return, there is still hope to convert them! Regards, Richard |
